Culture Days will take place from Sept. 23 to Oct. 16, with a variety of activities to celebrate local arts and culture. Culture Days is an annual nation-wide event that has become one of Canada’s largest participatory cultural events.

Nominations Open for 2022 Mayor’s Community Safety Awards

Nominations are officially open for the 12th Annual Mayor’s Community Safety Awards, which recognize Thunder Bay citizens and groups who are working to make our city safer and more equitable.

The awards are hosted by the City and Community Safety & Well-Being Thunder Bay. The deadline for submissions is Friday, Oct. 7, at 4:30 pm.

The awards will be presented during a special ceremony during the Nov. 14, 2022 meeting of Thunder Bay City Council.

Voter Information Letters (VILs) will start arriving by mail next week to all eligible Thunder Bay electors currently on the voters’ list for the upcoming 2022 Municipal & School Board Election.

“VILs contain important information on how, when and where to vote in the 2022 Municipal Election,” says Krista Power, City Clerk and Returning Officer.
