The City of Thunder Bay is happy to announce the FREE activities and entertainment for Canada Day on the Waterfront, presented by Ontario Power Generation, on Saturday, July 1, at Prince Arthur's Landing, Marina Park.

The City of Thunder Bay is pleased to invite the community to the annual Maamawe Summer Festival & Showcase on Saturday, June 24, 12 pm – 9 pm, at Marina Park. The Festival promotes inclusion, diversity and the well-being of all community members as well as those visiting our region. Splash Pads Set to Open for 2023 Season

Splash pads located at Prince Arthur’s Landing, Northwood Playfield and County Park are set to open on Thursday, June 15.

Splash pad operating hours are:

  • Northwood Splash Pad – daily from 11 am to 8 pm
  • County Park Splash Pad – daily 11 am to 8 pm 
  • Waterfront Splash Pad at Prince Arthur’s Landing - daily from 11:00 am to 8:30 pm

City Parks Facilities Kick Off Summer Operations

Summer in Thunder Bay has officially kicked off with the opening of City campgrounds and amusement rides.

Tent sites, RV sites and cabins are now available to rent as the campgrounds at Trowbridge Falls and Chippewa Park open for the camping season today.
