Public Notice of Surplus Lands

Notice is hereby given that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Thunder Bay, at its meeting held on Monday, June 28, 2021, declared the following interests surplus to the City's requirements:

(A102) The City’s interest in the lane, being Part of Lane, Block 4, Registered Plan W-185 Neebing, abutting Lot 11, Block 4, Registered Plan W-185 containing a site area of 111.09m² (1,195.83 ft²) once closed, be sold to the abutting property owner for lot enlargement purposes;

(D73) The City’s interest in the lane, being Part of Lane, Registered Plan 374, abutting Part of Lot 186 and all of Lot 187, Registered Plan 374 containing a site area of 58.51 m² (629.84 ft²)once closed, be sold to the abutting property owner of 107 Matthews Street, for lot enlargement purposes;

(F95) The City grant an easement interest over a portion of the property municipally known as the unopened and unmaintained portion of Hunter Road, being  Part of Mining Location 21, White’s Survey and designated as Parts 1 & 2 on Reference Plan 55R-14790 containing a site area of 519.48 m² (5,591.64 ft²), for utility purposes at the request of Enbridge Gas Inc.;

(F96) The City’s easement interest in a portion of the property municipally known as 1105 Dawson Road, legally described as Part of Lot 13, M339 and Part Lot 6, Con. A, McIntyre containing a site area of 182.11 m² (1,960.27 ft²), be reduced, released and transferred to the owner of 1105 Dawson Road;

(F97) The City’s easement interest in a portion of the property municipally known as 378 Wyndale Street, legally described as Part of Lot 27, 55M504 containing a site area of 28.49 m² (306.64 ft²), be reduced, released and transferred to the owner of 378 Wyndale St;

Please note all site areas referred to herein are approximate.
