Tbaytel Multiplex

The Tbaytel Multiplex is a new multi-use indoor turf facility coming to Thunder Bay.

Currently under development, the facility will support year-round access to recreation, sport, training, competition, events, and community use. Once open, it will provide high-quality indoor turf space for a variety of field-based activities, including soccer, football, ultimate frisbee, lacrosse, cricket, and more.

The facility is being developed to help meet the growing need for indoor recreational space in Thunder Bay and support residents of all ages and abilities.

About the Facility

The Tbaytel Multiplex is designed as a modern, flexible indoor turf facility that will support both organized sport and broader community use.

Planned features include:

  • FIFA-quality synthetic turf with flexible full, half, and quarter field configurations
  • Seating for approximately 500 spectators
  • Dressing rooms, concessions, and leasable spaces
  • Multipurpose community meeting rooms
  • Accessible design, transit-friendly location
  • Energy-efficient, LEED Silver equivalent and net-zero ready infrastructure
