Waste Collection Changes for Week Before Easter

Curbside waste collection dates, city wide, will change next week due to Good Friday.

Garbage and recycling collection will move one day earlier next week, starting on March 29, for all residents. There will be no collection on Good Friday.

Award recipients were announced during the Diversity Thunder Bay Celebration yesterday with the honour going to one individual and one local business, based on their efforts to exemplify respect in our community. PRO Kids Encourages Families to Skate in Support of Local Children & Youth

The community is invited to grab their skates and get active outside as part of the PRO Kids’ Skate-2-Win Campaign which runs until March 14. Families are encouraged to go skating at their favourite outdoor spot for some quality time together while enjoying healthy activity in support of PRO Kids.
