The Community Safety & Well-Being (CSWB) Plan is our community’s roadmap. It looks at the root causes of safety and well-being issues — such as housing, mental health, racism, and community belonging — and brings people together to create long-term solutions.
The first plan was approved in 2021. Since then, new challenges and opportunities have emerged. That’s why we’re updating the plan for 2026–2030: to reflect today’s realities and shape the future we want, together.

2021-2025 Community Safety & Well-Being Plan
Thank you to everyone who shared their insight and ideas regarding the development of the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan. Public engagement/consultation, including forums, focus groups and online surveys have been part of the information gathering from the community to identify key priorities and chart a path forward.
