October 5, 2015 - City Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Norm Gale as the Acting City Manager for the Corporation of the City of Thunder Bay.

October 6, 2015 "” Thunder Bay Fire Rescue kicked-off National Fire Prevention Week at St. Pius X Elementary School today. Grade 4 and 5 students at St. Pius X educated a gymnasium full of classmates, teachers, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue personnel and Fire Chief John Hay on the importance of working smoke alarms and home fire safety.

October 1, 2015 - Free compost will be available beginning on Saturday, Oct. 30 until the end of October to Thunder Bay residents at no charge; weather permitting and while quantities last.
The success of the City's leaf and yard waste recycling program has resulted in additional compost being available at the City's Solid Waste and Recycling Facility.
