Parking Area at Marina to be Closed

As part of ongoing construction work, the parking area in front of the old CN station at Prince Arthur’s Landing will close on July 1, to remain closed for the balance of the summer. The closure will allow for the completion of concrete curbs, asphalt paving, lighting, planting beds and stormwater management features.

Section of 25th Side Road to be Closed on July 2

25th Side Road will be closed to through traffic in both directions between Veradale Street and Rosslyn Road, on July 2 between the planned hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm. The closure is for water infrastructure maintenance.
Southbound traffic will be stopped and diverted down Veradale Street. Northbound traffic will be stopped and diverted down Rosslyn Road.
Motorists are encouraged to use 20th Side Road on July 2 as an alternate route and are asked to obey all posted signage.
Section of James Street Continues to be Closed to Traffic

James Street from Gore Street W. to Kingston Street is once again closed to traffic in both directions. This closure will remain in effect for the rest of this week, including Canada Day.
This area is undergoing construction work, and the effects of recent rainstorms have necessitated the continued closure. Motorists should take alternate routes and obey all posted signage.

This summer's Live on the Waterfront, presented by Ontario Power Generation, will look different, but there will be no shortage of talent. With the COVID-19 restrictions, the popular weekly free series has moved from the Waterfront to virtual. Virtual Live will be presented every Wednesday from July 8 to August 26, at 7 pm.
