Findings of Supervised Injection Services Study Presented

February 7, 2017 - Members of the community gathered at Elevate NWO today where findings of the recent Supervised Injection Services (SIS) Feasibility Study were presented.

February 2, 2017 - The City of Thunder Bay is inviting musicians, dance groups, children's entertainers and other stage performance acts to apply to perform at the City's annual summer events series.

Performance opportunities include over 14 event days, with two major single-day events and two event series. All events are free to the public and collectively draw thousands of attendees.

February 2, 2017 - The City of Thunder Bay's Special Events Developer, Paul Burke, is a finalist in the Sport Tourism Champion category for the 2017 Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance (CSTA) PRESTIGE Awards.

The award recognizes the outstanding contributions of an elected or paid official (federal, provincial, municipal) who greatly impacted sport tourism in their community in 2016.

City Supports Youth Through New Kinsmen Youth Centre

February 2, 2017 - The City of Thunder Bay continues to support and develop youth programs and services throughout the City.

Today the City's Recreation and Culture Division hosted a Community Open House at the new Kinsmen Youth Site, 609 James St. N. This site is designated for youth ages 12 - 18 years, with many community partnerships also offering programming at the building.
