Invite the Mayor

Each year, the Mayor attends many special events in the City. If you would like to invite the Mayor, please fill out the online Mayor request form, or print it out and mail it to:

All invitations are reviewed by the Mayor and staff. The Mayor's Office will contact you if additional information is required.

Request a written greeting from the Mayor for your event program

To request a written greeting from the Mayor for your event program, please complete the online Mayor request form.

If you include a greeting from the Mayor in your program or publication, we ask that you provide a final copy to the Mayor's Office.

Request a scroll

You can request a scroll for anniversaries, birthdays, and grand openings. Use the online scroll request form, or print it out and mail it to:

Scrolls are available for the following milestones:

  • Wedding anniversaries: 25th, 40th, 50th, 60th, and 75th
  • Birthdays: 75th, 80th, 85th, 90th, 95th and 100th
  • Businesses can request a scroll for grand opening events.

You must request your scroll at least two weeks prior to the event.

Include the following information on your request:

  • Recipient's full name and address
  • Event details
  • Requester's name, address, phone number and e-mail
  • Deadline date if different from event date
  • Mailing address or whether someone will pick up the scroll at the Office of the City Clerk

The Office of the City Clerk reviews all scroll requests and follows the guidelines noted above.
