Rock night hits the stage July 23 at Live on the Waterfront

The City of Thunder Bay’s Live on the Waterfront performance series, presented by Ontario Power Generation, returns this Wednesday, July 23 from 6 pm – 9 pm with a rock lineup guaranteed to electrify the crowd at Marina Park.

Marina Overpass to Close as Roundabout Construction Progresses

As construction on the new roundabout continues, the intersection of Cumberland and Water Streets, including the Marina Overpass will be closed to most vehicle traffic beginning Tuesday, July 22.
The closure is necessary to accommodate the next phase of work, and it is expected both the intersection and overpass will remain closed until October.

The City of Thunder Bay is advising the public that Stage 2 of the Burwood Road reconstruction will begin Monday, July 14. As part of this work, Burwood Road will be closed at Central Avenue, with local traffic access maintained from Oliver Road only. After nearly two years of extensive research, public input, and in-depth review, the City is recommending 114 Miles Street East as the site for the Temporary Shelter Village.
