Adventurers Camp is a fun and inclusive day camp full of activities from crafts to karate and of course swimming, for kids ages 5 to 12!

When registering for camp, please select one activity in each timeslot.

9:00am - 9:50am Options

  • Outdoor Sports (6-8 yrs)
  • Mad Science (9-12 yrs)
  • Once Upon A Time (6-8 yrs)
  • Dance & Cheer (9-12 yrs)
  • FitKids (9-12 yrs)
  • Ultimate Survivors (9-12 yrs)
  • Crafts (6-12 yrs)
  • Creative Writing (7-12 yrs)
  • Swimmer 1 2 3 4
  • Mer-Club (8yrs & up - must have Swimmer 4)
  • Private Lessons *Private Swim Lessons are the only aquatic option for those registering in a ONE WEEK camp (additional fee).

  • NEW** Leaders in Training (8-12 yrs)

TOTS Camp *ALL 5 year olds (as of December 31, 2019) will register for this program

  • The child will not be choosing individual classes.
  • They will be with the same group and same instructor all day.
  • The program will be 9am Crafts, 10am Imagination Station &11am Monkey Business.
  • Any of these activities may be substituted for a swimming lesson.
  • Diving is not an option for this age group

What you need to know

Please pack a peanut-free lunch, water bottle, bathing suit and towel each day. Bringing a hat and a water bottle every day is also a good idea as we do go outside!

A Medical Form and Photo/ Video Release Form need to be filled out for each child attending Adventurers Camp and can be found in the Parent Information Handbook.

Junior Inclusion Services (JIS) offers opportunities for kids of all abilities to be successful at Adventurers Camp! For more information about JIS you can call 625-3220.

If you are sending your child with a Personal Support Worker please let the program know ahead of time.

Kids will go swimming every day from 2 to 4pm. If you don't want to swim there are also supervised dryland activities available during swim time!

Super Summer Send-Off

Sign-up for the final week of summer before school starts! Super Summer Send-Off has two theme days each day and is similar to the Canada Games Complex March Break Program. Swimming Lessons and Morning Choices are not an option for this week.

High Five

The City of Thunder Bay is a registered organization with HIGH FIVE. All staff that work for Adventurers Camp are trained in the Principles of Healthy Child Development for children in recreation and sport!
