Culture Days Celebrate Creativity in Thunder Bay

September 28, 2017 - The eighth annual national Culture Days event runs in Thunder Bay this Friday, Sept. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 1, giving citizens an opportunity to experience live music, art, film, dance, heritage and more.

Battle of the Bands to be Featured at Exploring Our Routes

September 26, 2017 - The City of Thunder Bay is encouraging local youth to get involved in a new feature at this year's Exploring our Routes event on October 15 at the Kinsmen Youth Centre and Northwood Playfield.  For the first time, the afternoon event will feature a youth Battle of the Bands competition.

Property Owner Ticketed for Smoke Alarm Violation

September 26, 2017 - A Mountdale Avenue property owner has been ticketed for failing to maintain a smoke alarm in operating condition. The ticket carries a fine of $360.
