September 22, 2017 - A delegation from Nanning, China, signed an official Friendship Agreement between the City of Thunder Bay and Nanning, China, on Friday, Sept. 22, at City Hall. The Agreement promotes mutual understanding and friendship between the people of Canada and the People's Republic of China.

Ontario Chief Building Officials to Gather in Thunder Bay

September 18, 2017 - The Chief Building Officials from 24 large municipalities across Ontario are gathering in Thunder Bay this week, from Sept. 19 - 22, for their Annual Fall Meeting. This is the first time the event will be held in Thunder Bay.

September 14, 2017 - The City of Thunder Bay is excited to announce that DJ Shub, formerly of A Tribe Called Red, will be featured in a free public concert as part of Culture Days.

Community Celebrates Recovery at Family-Friendly Event

September 14, 2017 - Several hundred individuals came out to celebrate Recovery Day at the 4th Annual Rockin' Recovery event held at Marina Park Festival area yesterday evening.
