May 26, 2017 - The City of Thunder Bay is investing $34.7 million in 2017, on road and sidewalk rehabilitation, residential paving, sanitary and storm sewer and watermain repair/replacement, bridge and culvert work, and streetlight renewal.

Habitat ReStore to Collect Used Items at Landfill May 29 - June 3

May 26, 2017 - Restore Week at the Solid Waste & Recycling Facility on Mapleward Road will take place from Monday, May 29, to Saturday, June 3. During this special week, residents visiting the landfill can donate gently used building materials, appliances, cabinets, furniture, tools, plumbing and electrical materials to the Habitat for Humanity tent between 10 am - 4 pm.
