September 25, 2017 - Mayor Keith Hobbs has advised he is returning to his public duties today and will be at Committee of the Whole and City Council this evening.

September 25, 2017 - Nominations are now open for the 7th Annual Mayor's Community Safety Awards, which recognize Thunder Bay residents and groups who are working to make our city safer.
Presented by the City of Thunder Bay and the Crime Prevention Council, the awards will be handed out during a special ceremony that will take place during the November 6 meeting of Thunder Bay City Council.

Section of Mountdale Avenue to Close for Rail Crossing Rehabilitation

September 25, 2017 - Mountdale Avenue, from Gore Street to the laneway accessing Stanley Avenue, will be closed to all through traffic starting on Tuesday, Sept. 26, to allow for rehabilitation work on the CP rail crossing.
The closure is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, Sept. 29.

September 25, 2017 - National Coaches Week is underway across Canada to celebrate the tremendous positive impact coaches have on athletes and communities. National Coaches Week runs from September 23 to 30 and is an opportunity to recognize coaches for the integral role they play. September 22, 2017 - ReStore Week at the Solid Waste & Recycling Facility on Mapleward Road will take place from Monday, Sept. 25 to Saturday, Sept. 30.
