Algoma Street closure extended

Algoma Street North between St. George Avenue and Dawson Street will remain closed for two more days.
The storm sewer work necessitating the closure is nearing completion, after which crews will begin restoration of the area.
The road is expected to reopen by end-of-day on Thursday, Dec. 14.

Share your views on changes to city parking

The public can now comment on a plan to make the Thunder Bay Parking Authority financially sustainable.
The Parking Authority Financial Plan will be presented to City Council as a First Report on Monday, Dec. 11, and will be re-presented with public feedback on Jan. 22, 2024.
Some of the recommended changes include increasing parking rates and introducing paid parking at the waterfront.
