Park Avenue and Court Street Intersection Reopens

As work on the North Core Street Scape project progresses, the intersection of Park Avenue and Court Street has reopened to vehicle traffic.
East and westbound traffic can travel through the intersection on Park Avenue. Drivers will also be able to turn south onto Court Street from Park Avenue. With the reopening of the intersection, drivers should be aware that the section of Park Avenue between Court Street and Cumberland Street only permits one-way (eastbound-only) traffic.

Hours to Change at Victoriaville Service Counters

The in-person service hours at the Engineering and Development service counters inside the Victoriaville Civic Centre will change on Monday, Oct. 16.
Currently, in-person service counter hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Beginning Oct. 16, the new in-person service hours will be 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a 12:30 pm to 1:30 closure for lunch.
Telephone service will remain available from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and messages will be taken during the lunch hour closure.

2023 Fall Street Sweeping Underway

In preparation for winter, city crews have begun the fall street sweeping program. The fall street sweeping program focuses on removing leaves and debris on the roadway to prevent it from blocking storm sewer drains.
Sweeping operations started this week and typically run until the middle of November.
Motorists and pedestrians are reminded to take extra caution when approaching street sweeping operations.
