November 24, 2015 - Thunder Bay Fire Rescue, Union Gas and the Fire Marshal's Public Fire Safety Council have teamed up through Project Zero to launch Thunder Bay Fire Rescue's SAFE program (Smoke/CO Alarms For Everyone). Opening Weekend of Skating at Prince Arthur's Landing

November 23, 2015 - The waterfront skating rink at Prince Arthur's Landing officially opens tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 24. With the rink opening, the City is encouraging residents to come down to the waterfront and enjoy the many activities and facilities available to the public.

City Meets to Begin Planning for Potential Welcome of Refugees

November 20, 2015 – The Municipal Emergency Control Group met today to begin planning should the City formally be requested to assist in the resettlement of Syrian refugees. Construction Limits Access to Kaministiquia River Heritage Park

November 12, 2015 – The pedestrian underpass running between Simpson Street and Kaministiquia River Heritage Park has been closed to the public while contractors perform maintenance work on the paving stone pathway that runs through the underpass.

Free Transit for Veterans on Remembrance Day

November 10, 2015 - In honour of veterans, Thunder Bay Transit is will be providing free transit service to all veterans and military personnel in uniform and the family members accompanying them on Remembrance Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015.
