Building Owner Found Guilty for Failing to Comply with Inspection Orders and Fire Code Charges

April 28, 2016 - An Ambrose Street property owner was found guilty in Provincial Court Wednesday on two charges for failing to comply with an Inspection Order written by Thunder Bay Fire Rescue. In addition, the owner was found guilty of 14 additional fire code violations. These resulted in fines totaling $12,800 plus court costs.

April 26, 2016 - The City of Thunder Bay will discontinue the annual Free Week at the Solid Waste & Recycling Facility in May as part of a recommended action item in the Solid Waste Management Strategy.

April 26, 2016 - The City of Thunder Bay is pleased to announce that the City has reached a Memorandum of Settlement with Unifor Local 229 Superior North Emergency Medical Services Thunder Bay (SNEMS).

April 25, 2016 - The Thunder Bay Courthouse, Northern Credit Union and Generator Insights, Strategy, Creative each were recognized at the Clean, Green & Beautiful Awards tonight during Council's Committee of the Whole meeting.
