High Street Closed Due to Emergency Storm Sewer Repair

High St. South, between Elizabeth St. and Red River Rd, is CLOSED due to an emergency storm sewer repair located at the north east corner of Red River Rd and High St. North.

The west bound curb lane of Red River Rd approaching the intersection is also closed.

This is due to an emergency storm sewer repair located at the north east corner of Red River Rd and High St N.

During this time, there will be no drive through traffic on the closed sections and motorists/pedestrians are advised to exercise...

Rosslyn Road remains closed for infrastructure repairs

Rosslyn Road will be closed at 1996 Rosslyn Road to facilitate infrastructure repairs today.

Through traffic is impacted by this closure and will not be permitted between 20th Side Road and Neebing Avenue. There is no detour.

The road is anticipated to reopen by 6 pm.

Algoma Street closure extended

Algoma Street North between St. George Avenue and Dawson Street will remain closed for two more days.

The storm sewer work necessitating the closure is nearing completion, after which crews will begin restoration of the area. 

The road is expected to reopen by end-of-day on Thursday, Dec. 14.

Ongoing storm sewer work keeps Algoma Street closed

North Algoma Street will be closed between St. George Avenue and Dawson Street starting this afternoon due to additional work required for the storm sewer repair located near the intersection of north Algoma Street and Dawson Street. 

North and South bound traffic flow on Algoma will be detoured to St. George Avenue and Dawson Street. Pedestrians and motorists can expect delays in this area, and are encouraged use caution and reduce speeds in the detoured area.
