Mayor's Mulligan Returns in New Format to Support PRO KidsThe 16th Annual Mayor’s Mulligan will run as a special Putting Edition this year in support of PRO Kids. The annual event, which has cumulatively raised $208,500 to date, will be offered in a different format to accommodate the current COVID-19 climate.

The successful candidates have received full-time permanent jobs with over 16 local employers and can now apply for their permanent residency with the Federal Government.

Council Approves Phase 1 Fall Operations Service Level ChangesCity Council approved the reopening of several facilities, programs and services last night as part of the Phase I Fall 2020 Operations.
In developing reopening plans, Administration is guided by the principles of: ‘Safety First’ (for
public and employees, as informed by public health professionals); ‘Value for Money’ (reopening programs and services that deliver the highest value at best cost or adjust services to support cost containment); and ‘Create Opportunity’ (innovative ways to serve the community.
Updates to Rainbow Crosswalk InstallationsThe City of Thunder Bay and Thunder Pride continue to work together for successful installation of the City’s first Pride Crosswalks.
Additional blocks of colour were added recently to the crosswalk at the intersection of Bay Street and Algoma Avenue, and more material will also be added to the Transgender Crosswalk.
