Section of 20th Side Road Will Be Closed for Railway Track Repairs
May 31, 2017 - A section of 20th Side Road will be closed on Thursday, June 1, to through traffic, due to railway track repairs. 20th Side Road will be closed between Arthur Street and Rosslyn Road.

The walk is being held in support of National Victims and Survivors of Crime Week, which aims to raise awareness about the issues facing victims and survivors of crime and the services and laws in place to help victims, survivors and their families.
Habitat ReStore to Collect Used Items at Landfill May 29 - June 3May 26, 2017 - Restore Week at the Solid Waste & Recycling Facility on Mapleward Road will take place from Monday, May 29, to Saturday, June 3. During this special week, residents visiting the landfill can donate gently used building materials, appliances, cabinets, furniture, tools, plumbing and electrical materials to the Habitat for Humanity tent between 10 am - 4 pm.

2017 Road Work Season BeginsMay 26, 2017 - The City of Thunder Bay is investing $34.7 million in 2017, on road and sidewalk rehabilitation, residential paving, sanitary and storm sewer and watermain repair/replacement, bridge and culvert work, and streetlight renewal.
Five New Companies Announced for Costarter AcceleratorMay 26, 2017 - The Costarter Accelerator Program introduced its third cohort of five innovative companies at the hub:north incubator space in Waverley Library.
The Costarter Accelerator Program is a three month intensive and mentorship-driven program in which the five companies receive a small investment of $15,000, office space, advisory assistance and access to funders.
