2022 Snow Sculpture Competition Call to ArtistsThe City of Thunder Bay is pleased to announce the release of the 2022 Snow Sculpture Competition Call to Artists. The City’s Recreation & Culture Division will host the tenth annual Snow Sculpture Competition at the Waterfront on Family Day weekend in February.
City Issues Weather AlertAs part of the COVID-19 Severe Weather Response Plan, the City is issuing an alert to the community because of recent heavy snowfall Sunday into Monday morning, and forecasted overnight lows over the next two nights that bring risk of frostbite.
During cold weather and times of heavy snowfall, residents are encouraged to check in with vulnerable friends, neighbours and family to ensure they are not experiencing any difficulties related to the weather.
