    The City of Thunder Bay is excited to announce the movie lineup and new locations for this year’s Movie Nights in the Parks, where movies will be shown in different neighbourhoods each week throughout the city.

    This year’s three-part series will be held Thursday, August 19 at Kinsmen Youth Centre (Northwood), Thursday, August 26 at West Thunder and Thursday, September 2 at Balsam Park.

    A partnership between the City of Thunder Bay and various community organizations launched a campaign today in response to Recommendation 112 of the Seven Youth Inquest that will aim to address racism and hate in Thunder Bay.

  • Flags to Continue Being Flown at Half-Mast at City Hall

    Flags at Thunder Bay City Hall have been flown at half-mast since May 31 to honour the lives lost following the discoveries of unmarked and mass graves near former residential school sites in Kamloops, British Columbia and Cowessess First Nation, Saskatchewan.

    Since then, additional discoveries of 182 graves in Cranbrook, British Columbia, and 160 graves discovered in Penelakut Island, formerly known as Kuper Island, near Chemainus, British Columbia have been identified.
